一般来说，“发头”是衡量燕窝等级的重要标准。“发头”是指：按重量计算，燕窝在浸透后，在重量上与干身时的差异，倍数越大，即“发头”越好，一般优质燕窝5倍以上的“发头”。
Generally speaking, “expansion rate” is an important criterion for measuring the grades of a Golden Swiftlet’s Nest. “Expansion rate” refers to the difference between the weights of a nest before and after being soaked.
